Used dial calipers and superglue in order to create puzzle cube. Learned basic Auto-Desk Inventor functions by modelling puzzle cube and creating drawing files.
With a group of fellow students we disassembled a can opener to measure all the separate pieces in order to model them in Auto-Desk inventor. The modeled pieces were then put into an assembly and it back together in Auto-Desk Inventor.
Built a machine that could sort marbles into different containers with different constrictions based on color, size, material, etc.
Used knowledge of vectors, tension and compression, and bridge design to design, build, and test a truss bridge.
Used knowledge of lift and drag as well as aircraft components to create and test a wooden balsa glider.
Created a presentation on a realistic trip to Mars in the near future and what resources would be used to get there.
